Linley Jones, P.C. Sponsors Fundraising Event for Shepherd Center

August 2, 2007, Atlanta, Georgia – Linley Jones, P.C. held a bartending fundraiser event benefiting the Shepherd Center Foundation at the Ravinia Club in Atlanta. Through donations, door prizes and bartending tips, the firm raised thousands of dollars that will be directed to the recreational therapy program at Shepherd Center. Shepherd Center is a specialty rehabilitation hospital that treats spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.

After seeing first hand that a number of the firm’s clients received life-changing treatment at the hospital, Linley Jones decided to conduct a fundraiser to benefit the facility. “A number of the programs at Shepherd Center are not covered by insurance, and private charitable funding is particularly important for these programs,” notes Linley Jones. Her law firm supports a number of other charitable causes and intends to continue its work for Shepherd Center in the future. Ravinia Club, who hosted the event, has always offered their resources for members who want to support a charitable organization or cause. Generous door prizes from Air Tran, Whole Foods and Best Buy ensured the wonderful turnout.
