Atlanta Trial Lawyer’s Society Created by and for Atlanta’s Top Female Plaintiff’s Lawyers

February 16, 2005 , Atlanta , Georgia – Linley Jones today announced the formation of the Atlanta Trial Lawyers’ Society, Atlanta ’s first organization dedicated to the professional development and support of female civil lawyers engaged in plaintiff’s trial practice.

“The charter members of our group are very excited,” said Jones. “Despite the large number of women practicing law, there are still relatively few female plaintiff’s trial lawyers. We hope this organization will raise the profile of female trial lawyers and encourage other women to join the field.”

Comprising only Atlanta’s top female trial lawyers, the membership currently includes: Charlotte Perrell of Perrell & Wright, L.L.C.; Jenny E. Jensen of Jones, Jensen & Harris; Lee Tarte Wallace of The Wallace Law Firm, L.L.C.; Robin Frazer Clark of Clark Goldner, P.C.; Linley Jones of Linley Jones, P.C.; and Stephanie Wright of Perrell & Wright, L.L.C. New members will be added only by unanimous agreement of all current members and must be actively engaged in plaintiff’s trial practice.

“The group’s activities will include monthly meetings where members share their verdicts and other professional developments during the month, as well as discuss current issues facing lawyers in trial practice,” Jones continued. “We will also present an annual award to the top female plaintiff’s attorney at a luncheon in the spring,” said Jones. “We expect the award luncheon to become a high-profile opportunity to showcase the most accomplished female trial lawyers in the area.”
